The Joker vs Nadal

Who said that it wasn't a dream final because Fedrer wasn't in it?
Who said that it wouldn't be worth to watch?
Who said that both Nadal and Djokovic suck?
All of them should suck it and keep sucking it (don't feel offended, I am just quoting Maradona's statement at a press conference)!!!
True it wasn't between the two top seeded players of the tournament but it was between the two top ranked players in the world ( Our "dear" Fedrer has slipped to rank 3 now). It was a match between two players who wanted only one thing- The Championship. It was between two humble human beings who were ready to die for each point played!
The first set went to Nadal in a fashion that is expected from a Nadal match. The opponent being nervous and Nadal pounding on each of his nervous heart beats like a predator. It was the similar story of the opponent commiting unforced errors at Nadal's will. The opponent showing frustation at every mistake and Nadal's awe. But even in that set Nadal was broken, a feat acheived only twice in the whole tournament till then.
The second set was played somewhere in heaven. Djokovic was hitting the ball fiercer, running after each ball harder and making Nadal commit unforced errors. Nadal even committed a double fault. Djokovic was covering more ground and Nadal was frustated. Nadal even punched his racket in frustation, a scene hardly associated with the calm, composed and confident Nadal. Winners and aces flew from Djokovic's racket, Nadal was broke and the score was 3-1 in favor of Djokovic. Nadal had committed 11 unforced errors compared to 2 of Djokovic's, a number that Nadal commits in the whole match in an ordinary day.
But Nadal is made of sterner stuff. He took his game to a new level. He hit the ball with more fury, played at the meanest of angles. Djokovic resisted. He answered each ball of fury of Nadal with similar intensity. Nadal's each double handed backhand was returned with his brand of double handed backhands. He forced Nadal out of his comfort zone of the baseline to play at the nets. The players went as deep in the baseline as they could to pound the ball as hard as they could. The ball and racket cried for mercy and the match looked like a Nike commercial. But Nadal prevailed. He dished out winners at will and Djokovic's frustation made him commit errors. Both players showed tremendous court coverage. But till even mother God wanted a break to take a breath Nadal had clawed back in heroic fashion leveling at 4-4 and Djokovic serving at 30 all!
But the break broke Rafa's momentum and the Serbian held his nerve to deservingly take the set 7-5.
The third set was no different from the second. The way Djokovic was hitting the ball, running around, chasing balls, it looked Rafa was playing against his mirror image. But Rafa also notched up his game. Towards the end the Serbian looked getting weary after matching Nadal for so long. Nadal took the set 6-4.
In the last set, as Djokovic got tired, Nadal accelerated and it was Game,Set, Match, Championship, Career Slam for him. The expressions of Djokovic in the last game told the story about Nadal's reservoir of energy.
But Djokovic fought, saved 19 of 25 break points and showed his spirit.
Novak stretched, stretched and overstretched Nadal. Noone else could have done that to Nadal like him.
Nadal might have found his nemesis.
The Dark Knight won the Championship but the Joker was the entertainer!!
